Wilma Dooley

"Good morning! Beckett & Hensley." The warm and welcoming voice of office administrator Wilma Dooley greets callers. Through personal care and communication, Ms. Dooley helps Beckett & Hensley's clients feel well cared for and manages the communications flow of the office. She is a self-described "spirit lifter".

A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Ms. Dooley started at the University of Kansas at 16 years of age, majoring in Secondary Education, with a minor in Psychology. She became a member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority at KU in 1976.

Ms. Dooley spent 20 years in Dallas working in the public relations field. Her background includes work in the Development and Public Relations department of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, and later for Dawson and Duncan Communications. In 1999 she returned to Kansas City, Kansas and began working as Assistant to the Director of Advertising at Associated Wholesale Grocers prior to joining Beckett & Hensley in 2001.

She has two sons, Richard (16) and Christopher (11). She "loves to travel, loves to read, and loves to see people happy."
